Fort Harrison State Park

This all volunteer museum is located in Fort Harrison State Park near the visitor center. They host exhibits about the lives and history of the soldiers who once marched the grounds of old Fort Harrison.

The Fort Harrison State Park Dog Park includes over 10 acres of fenced land, a pond, agility equipment, water stations, benches, and a wooded “adventure” area for exploration.

Fishing at Fort Harrison State Park offers a peaceful experience at its two beautiful lakes, Lawrence and Fall Creek. Both lakes provide ample opportunities for anglers to catch a variety of fish while enjoying scenic views and tranquil surroundings.

The Fort Golf Resort is set within the idyllic Fort Harrison State Park, it features an acclaimed 18-hole golf course renowned for its challenging design and scenic vistas.

Fort Harrison State Park Inn, located at the main entrance to the park, offers a serene retreat surrounded by nature. The historic inn features comfortable accommodations, nearby hiking trails, and scenic views, perfect for relaxation and outdoor activities.

The Garrison Restaurant is the caterer for events hosted at the Fort Golf Resort.

Fort Harrison State Park provides excellent hiking and biking opportunities with its scenic trails winding through diverse landscapes. Enthusiasts can enjoy invigorating outdoor adventures amidst the park’s tranquil and picturesque surroundings.
