This park has a playground, baseball fields, and a shelter. A new nature trail is under construction that will run through the woods on the south side of the park. The path has been cleared, and later this year a recycled durable asphalt surface will be put down. The recycled material will actually come from Lawrence road resurfacing projects!

This park has two playgrounds for smaller children, baseball fields, and a wire sculpture by William Arnold called “Battle of Chosen Reservoir.” In 1950, brave men battled for their lives and their country in Korea. Lawrence has a variety of wonderful recreational facilities for humans. We think our four-legged friends deserve a park of their own. That’s why we’ve created Waggin’ Tails Bark Park.
